Job Description

Robert Walters are excited to be representing a highly successful, multimillion pound revenue, global retail organisation, who due to continued business growth, are seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance team.As the new Management Accountant, you will report directly into the Finance Manager, and Senior Finance Directors of the fastest growing international division of the group. You will lead and deliver accurate & technically robust management accounts, producefinancial reports, and assist with financial matters as requested by Finance Directors & Finance Business Partners of the relevant division.The role:

  • Working directly with the Finance Manager ensuring all monthly reports are timely and accurate.
  • Provision of divisional accounts and support Finance Directors and Finance Business Partners of the relevant division.
  • Work closely with both internal & external stakeholders across the globe providing timely completion on deliverables.
  • Work to continually improve processes and controls along with utilising systems to drive efficiencies and exceed KPIs.
  • Support month end close process, ensuring that ledgers are closed to strict deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all aspects of divisional end to end accounts to reflect the underlying financial performance.
  • Develop necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the companys business.
The successful individual:
  • Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Strong team and people management credentials.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships and influence senior leaders.
  • Strong technical background including SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems.
  • A solid technical accounting background with experience of implementing and maintaining strict financial controls.
  • Experience of working successfully within a global or multi-site business.
  • The ambition to succeed and grow within a market leading organisation.
