An excellent opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Technician for my manufacturing client based in Greater ManchesterWe are looking for an electrical maintenance technician. The company are a well-respected business who can offer secure employment, a friendly culture and excellent progression opportunities.There have been numerous occasions where employees have progressed from this role into the maintenance team, increasing their salary by doing soYou will work as an operator maintainer undertaking production-based work and carrying out first-line maintenance support for any breakdowns that occur (75% production, 25% maintenance).As the electrical maintenance technician your duties will include:* Fault find, repair and service a wide variety of electrical systems, machinery and equipment* Maintain and improve control systems and instrumentation* The role will be a mix of breakdown response, PPM work, improvements, upgrades and project workTo apply for the electrical maintenance technician role, you will needA recognised electrical qualification (preferably a time served apprenticeship)Experience within a manufacturing environmentPLC fault finding skills are desirableIn return, the electrical maintenance technician will receive a salary of £32,000If you are interested in this excellent opportunity click apply
