Job Description

Maintenance OperativesHousing, Property ServicesNorth West, Greater ManchesterFull Time / Flexible ContractsOur team at Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for multiple Housing Maintenance Operatives within the North West, Greater Manchester Region on a full time / part time basis. We are open to applicants that are seeking both temporary and permanentcontracts within the Housing, Property Services sector.Housing Maintenance Operative Responsibilities: -

  • Carry out responsive maintenance queries to housing (domestic) properties for both voids and tenanted properties.
  • Meet appointment as agreed with tenants.
  • Adhere to compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of tools; ensuring they are maintained and services; and supervisor is aware of any loss or damage.
  • Understand and abide to health and safety regulations.
  • Order specialist materials where required to complete task and minimise wastage.
  • Inspect quality of completed works and be satisfied before leaving the customer.
Housing Maintenance Operative Requirements: -
  • Have a base trade within Joiner; Plumbing; Grounds Maintenance; Tiling; Plasterer; Roofers
  • City and Guilds qualification up to (NVQ level 3) or relevant experience in one trade and others
  • Good timekeeper with organisation and planning skills including strategic thinking and priority setting
  • Self-motivation skills and a good team player
  • Working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation
Essential Requirements
  • Experience working within Housing, Property Services Sector
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to carry out a DBS Check
