Machine Setter/Operator (Extrusion)Wythenshawe£10.00 to £12.00 per hour DOE +MONDAY TO THURSDAY. 06:00 to 18:00Machine Setter/Operator required for a well established manufacturer who are continuing to thrive through the current pandemic. They specialise in a wide range of plastic products for a number of different industries. This is a great opportunity for applicants who will benefit from a long weekend and overtime opportunities to boost potential earnings.The role would suit machine setters/operators, ideally with plastic extrusion experience. Applicants will ideally have experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with experience using measuring tools such as verniers and calipers will have a considerable advantage.The role will involve starting up, setting and operating extrusion machines. You will work to bespoke customer specification to manufacture a wide range of products. You will work with a range of plastic raw materials, calibrate machines to be fit for purpose and quality check products to specification. You will work to H&S initiatives at all times. As part of your role, you will be tasked with reduced waste/scrap and increasing efficiencies where possible.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful manufacturer who always provide opportunities to learn and progress.
