Associate Director - Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) OriginationCompany Overview:Our client is a leading and nationally recognized firm dedicated to providing exceptional financial and advisory services. With a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions, our team is at the forefront of facilitating strategic transactions for our diverse clientele.As an Associate Director in M&A Origination, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our M&A practice. Your responsibilities will include:Deal Origination:Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and maintaining a robust network of industry contacts.Proactively engage with potential clients, understanding their strategic objectives, and aligning them with suitable M&A solutions.Relationship Management:Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investment bankers, legal advisors, and other professionals in the M&A ecosystem.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the deal origination process.Market Analysis:Monitor and analyze market conditions, industry developments, and competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights for decision-making.Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, presenting the firm as an industry authority.Due Diligence Support:Assist in the due diligence process by coordinating information exchange, conducting preliminary financial analysis, and supporting the overall deal evaluation.Deal Execution Support:Collaborate with deal teams in structuring transactions, preparing pitch materials, and participating in client presentations.Work closely with senior leadership to ensure the successful execution of M&A transactions.Qualifications:Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in M&A origination, investment banking, or related fields.Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proven track record of successfully originating and closing M&A transactions.Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
