Job Description

Associate Director opportunity within an established growing Mid-market M&A / Corporate Finance Advisory boutique offering progression to Director in 2 - 3 years.THE COMPANYA specialist M&A / Corporate Finance Advisory boutique which has established a strong position in the lower / mid-market deal space and a reputation for advising on UK and cross-border transactions within Software / SaaS, Technology, Healthcare and Manufacturingsectors. Led by experienced Investment Bankers and Corporate Financiers, the firm handles a wide range of transactions including M&A, Disposals, MBO / MBI, AIM Listings / Flotations, Carveouts / Divestments and Growth Capital Raisings.THE OPPORTUNITYStrong deal flow and a focus on continued growth and succession have combined to create a new opportunity for an experienced M&A / Corporate Finance Professional which will involve leading a growing team, project managing transactions through to completionand playing an active role in growing the firms UK presence.As an M&A Associate Director your responsibilities will include

  • Project managing Corporate Finance transactions across a wide range of industry sectors including Technology, Software / SaaS, Manufacturing, Industrials and Business Services.
  • Leading a team responsible for preparation of key documents & materials, including Information Memoranda, Buyer Research, Market Analysis, Financial Forecasts and Reports
  • Managing Due Diligence processes and acting as key contact for advisors and buyers
  • Acting as Lead Advisor and managing transactions through to completion.
  • Liaising regularly with clients during deal processes to maintain momentum
  • Building a strong network with Private Equity Investors, Lawyers and Funders

THE PERSONYou will be a Corporate Finance Advisory professional able to demonstrate the following:
  • Background & experience in either Top Tier Accountancy Practice or Independent Corporate Finance practice
  • At least 4 - 5 years Corporate Finance Transaction experience at lower / mid-market level
  • Good deal management skills, able to manage relationships with clients, funders and other professional advisors
  • A strong desire to develop your career Director within an established M&A / Corporate Finance boutique
