Job Description

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for a well-established organisation who own some of the UKs most well-known household brand names.We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Health, Safety and Logistics Trainer to join the Depot in Manchester on a 12-month internship with the potential to become permanent.As the Logistics Trainer, you will support with the development, delivery, and administration of all training needs across the business whilst ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and Customer Service standards.Carrying out detailed performance assessments and identifying training needs across the depots. You will develop and deliver robust, award-winning training to resolve identified issues whilst ensuring employees are provided with the correct training to fulfiltheir roles in a safe and effective manner.This rare opportunity will allow the successful candidate to gain exposure and knowledge of training within Logistics for the worlds leading manufacturer of domestic appliances.   • Previous experience within a multi-drop or warehousing environment would be beneficial.
  • Proven experience within a training role would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of legislation regarding EU driving hours and Road Transport (Working Time) Directive would be advantageous.
  • A keen willingness to learn and progress within the role.
  • Experience of using MS Packages and Google Suite.
  • A ‘can do attitude and approach to work.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and location as the role will require occasional working and unsociable hours.
