We are delighted to bring to market this exclusive role for a multi-award-winning law firm in Manchester, which is recruiting for a Litigation Solicitor with 6+ PQE to join as a Partner and take a supported step up into a Head of Department role in the nearfuture.While the firm is based in Manchester, the role can be fully remote if you wish. This, in addition to a generous flexitime policy (you can work when you want) and a four-day week (where you get paid for five days), means this is the most flexible litigationpartner role on the market right now.Your mission will be to get up to speed with the team’s current client base and work types and take over from the current head of team when you are ready, as they step up into a senior leadership role within the business.You need not be a Partner right now, as the firm will consider applications from Solicitors, Associates and Senior Associates with the requisite experience.The opportunity comes with an attractive benefits package, including life insurance, a phone (with contract) and laptop, free parking and much more.You will eventually lead and supervise of small team of litigators dealing with a varied caseload of shareholder disputes, medium-to-high value commercial contract disputes and complex cross-jurisdictional matters. The team acts for a lot of international businessclients, so a significant proportion of its caseload has an international element. The team is currently working on a multimillion-pound arbitration.The right person will have strong commercial litigation expertise, including experience in international/cross-border disputes.
