Job Description

Tradewind are recruiting!Are you passionate about supporting young adults who are finishing their journey in education and about to enter the world of workDo you have experience supporting teenagers or adults from vulnerable backgrounds or those with mental health issuesThe this unique role is for you!We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP, full time at a post 16 college setting in a semi-rural location in the Trafford area.

  • Starting ASAP.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Approx 9am-4pm each day although hours vary.
  • Excellent pay up to £13/hour.
  • Paid PAYE with Tradewind, not umbrella companies.
  • Will turn into permanent role for the right person.
  • Learning Support Assistant supporting post 16 students in Trafford area.
  • 1:1 and small group support.
  • Varied timetable where no two days are the same.
  • Unique riding centre location with horses on site.
  • You will need to be a driver to reach this location.
  • You will need to be happy with being around animals from time to time in between lessons.
  • Access to training and development.

To join us and be successful in this school based Learning Support Assistant role in the Trafford area, you will need to:
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one)
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Minimum of two professional references.
  • Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Some experience with teenagers or young adults.
