Learning CoachLearning Makaton Coach- uses speech with signs and symbols to help people communicate.Location: Tameside, Greater ManchesterStart date: ASAPSalary: £1350-£1600Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pmWe are looking for a qualified SEND teaching assistant for a role within a PRU provision within Tameside, Greater Manchester. You will be working with KS3 children, who are academically working at a KS2 level, with special educational needs. The childrenhave struggles communicating with others.The ideal candidate is somebody who is willing to make a difference in a childs social, emotional, and mental health progression. Can assess the needs of individual students and maintain appropriate records when required. The learning support assistantwill have knowledge of the requirements of delivering education to students with SEND, with the ability to select appropriate resources to create a stimulating learning environment.The learning support assistant will work in partnership with the teacher with individual pupils and/or with small groups of pupils to assist in the process of, and to promote, teaching and learning.
