Job Description

Page Personnel are working exclusively with Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) to support them with appointing a Learning and Development Coordinator on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in a HR setting,ideally in a Learning and Development role.Client DetailsParliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) is an independent national service in the Public Sector and Government industry based in Manchester. They make fair and final decisions on complaints that have not been resolved by the NHS in England, UKgovernment departments, and some other public organisations. In cases where an individual or group believes there has been injustice because an institution has not acted fairly or has provided a poor service and not put things right, PHSO is the organisationthat investigates. PHSO do this fairly and transparently without taking sides, and their service is completely free.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Learning and Development Coordinator include:

  • Administering PHSOs learning management system
  • Recording training related data and producing reports
  • Liaising with other teams and departments in the end to end L+D process
  • Administering the L+D and training inboxes
  • Producing training related materials
ProfileThe successful Learning and Development Coordinator should have:
  • Experience of L+D / HR / People related systems
  • An understanding of coordinating events, group activities and training
  • Ability to deal with all levels of stakeholders across the organisation
  • IT literate - familiar with Microsoft Office programmes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines
