This company is seeking to appoint an experienced leaded light craftsman glazier. As one of the most outstanding traditional glass studios in the UK, you will be joining a skilled and passionate team working together across studios in Manchester and Chester. The work would be split between the workshops and being out on location for removal and reinstatement work, attending to historic glass conservation and repair projects at some of the UKs most important heritage sites. The role will be full time, working 40 hours per week, but they may also consider applications from candidates wishing to remain freelance. Either way, you will need to be very proficient in workshop techniques including leading and glass cutting, as well on-site skills such as removal of leaded glass and pointing up. Previous experience of working in a similar studio is very much preferred, but they may consider applications from candidates with wider glazing experience. A full UK (or equivalent) driving licence is essential, along with a willingness to travel for site work on location.
