Job Description

Lead User Experience Researcher - £70,000 - Manchester (Hybrid Working) - Financial ServiceAn award-winning tech platform in the financial services space who have spent the past 25 years honing their craft to become UK market leaders in their area are looking for a new Lead User Experience Researcher!An award-winning tech platform in the financial services space who have spent the past 25 years honing their craft to become UK market leaders in their area.As a Lead User Experience Researcher, you will be primarily responsible for leading and generating inspiring and actionable insight to help improve customers experiences.You will work in a team alongside other UX professionals, who are leading the user-centric product transformation of a previously traditional financial services business. It is an exciting role that will make a real difference within an industry that isripe for better design thinking and a user-centered focus.Day to day, youll be working alongside UX Designers, UX Copywriters, UX Researchers, Analysts, Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers, Testers, Customer Service Advisers and stakeholders across the business.Responsibilities:

  • Embed user research into our discovery process working with Research, Onsite Analytics and the Product Owners.
  • Deliver both in-house and 3rd party research workshops including set up, recruitment, moderation, data collection, analysis and debrief.
  • Conduct primary and secondary user research.
  • Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Perform market and ethnographic research.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
  • Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
  • Perform usability studies with consumers.
  • Ask questions, gather data, and analyse data.
  • Use a diverse set of UX research tools.
  • Provide support, guidance and coaching to designers, copy writers, product managers and UX/UI to upskill them to run their own research techniques.
