The roleWe are recruiting on behalf of a UK based Successful Travel Retailer. They are looking for a Software Engineering Lead to join and support them in growing their team. The team is responsible for providing and maintaining one of the platforms which providesthe group with flight product and bookability. This platform needs to be resilient, scalable and highly adaptable.We use a wide range of technologies across a service oriented architecture running in Kubernetes and AWS, powered by a CI/CD pipeline. Technologies currently include node.js, ruby, rails, python, elasticsearch, MySQL. We are a fast moving, delivery-focussedteam and deploy multiple times a day.Key tech: Python, JavaScript and TypeScriptIn the role of Software Engineering Lead, you will take an active role in leading the growth of our engineers abilities and ensuring technical delivery.Youll be a great fit if: Youre passionate about developing people and helping them grow You are a hands-on engineer and love technology You are a software craftsperson and strongly believe in producing high quality, resilient services.
