Job Description

Ruby Group are looking for a Lead Java Integration Developer to join a fast-paced global technology business. The permanent position is reporting into the CTO and will lead a team of 4 developers. The role is initially full remote however if the pandemic improves you will be required to work in multiple locations with some international travel.The main duties of the role are: -

  • Working with project managers, clients and customers to implement new projects and functionality in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Lead development role on 3rd party Integrations, including making architectural decisions, and taking responsibility for the full development lifecycle
  • Identifying root cause of incidents to improve operational efficiency and deliver suitable solutions
  • Responsible for arranging and involved in code reviews and integration points
    • The ideal candidate will have the following: -
  • Extensive experience using Java
  • Extensive experience doing 3rd party integrations
  • 2+ years of experience managing/leading 3rd party integrations
  • Strong API experience and the integration with 3rd party applications and products is a must for the role In depth
  • Strong stakeholder management in an Agile environmental
  • Strong knowledge of core Java;
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience;
  • Agile and RFP experience is essential
  • Experience of architecture and modelling;
  • Application/Web servers (Tomcat, Tomee, Apache);
  • Strong experience with message brokers (Rabbit MQ, Redis)
  • Web Application frameworks (SpringMVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security);
  • Other Enterprise level technologies (CDI, JAXB, JAX-RS, Taglibs, Servlets, JSP, AMQP, JMS);
  • Webservices, REST and Enterprise Integration (Spring Boot, JAX-RS, CXF, Camel)
