Job DescriptionSALARY: £85,255-£100,300 per annumLOCATION(S):This role can be based in either Bristol or Manchester.HOURS: Full-time (35 hours per week)WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYDo you want to play a crucial role as part of our engineering team, wider engineering and data communities, with a dedication to excellent technical quality, and build, maintain and evolve our data management capabilities whilst embracing industry best practicesand standardsIn this role, you’ll be delivering projects ranging from Technological implementations, software implementations, pipeline automation, metadata ingestion across the length and breadth of the software development lifecycle. In addition to this, you willmanage and lead a team of software and data management engineers, establish and communicate standards and best practice across the wider lab and platform engineering teams.Where you will make a differenceAs a Lead Software Data Engineer, youll work across multiple teams, providing guiding values to ensure that our services are built to our architectural principles and encouraged capabilities; be passionate for mentoring people in a “player-coach” model,and help drive agile adoption in the teams and adoption of collaboration tools.
