As a Barclays Large Corporate Team Leader you will have an exciting chance to work within Lending Hubs who deal with the end to end lending process from receipt of sanction to drawdown of a facility. You will be responsible in reviewing the sanction, productionand issuance of facility documentation, fit to lend and drawdown for new, interim and annual reviews for BI clients. Your other responsibilities will include coordinating the taking of Collateral Security, and working closely with the various Operational/Legalareas. What will you be doing Acting as Lending team lead, providing absence cover for the Vice President Head of Large Corporate Post Sanction Fulfilment (PSF) Supporting and managing client portfolios with a high degree of complexity across multiple processes components ensuring all documentation outputs are compliant Liaising daily with a large offshore presence to co-ordinate delivery of the end to end client transaction across the UK & India teams Being the direct point of contact for issue escalation & resolution within the PSF stakeholder base and interacting daily at VP and above with relationship teams, solicitors and other teams Acting as PSF lead for internal /external /SOX audits co-ordinating resolution of issues identified with the Head of Controls, Issues Assurance and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Owning the PSF service metrics including transaction management, overtime budget control and service outcome reporting Being responsible for new product approval sign off for Lending Products new to Operations Maintaining your own knowledge and that of the multiples teams across PSF Operations - via communications/buzz sessions/websites/root cause analysis What were looking for: Proven experience in an Operations role within Lending/Debt Product Proven track record of professionally managing teams in a volume processing customer centric environment Demonstrable experience of Lending procedures, processes & Controls Extensive knowledge and understanding of Internal lending and security processes and procedures Skills that will help you in the role Academic and professional qualifications- LEAN qualified or proven experience utilising LEAN methodology in an operational context. Knowledge of legislation affecting the Bank and clients (including the Data Protection Act, Consumer credit, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act etc.) Where will you be working Based in our Manchester office, which is in the heart of the city centre.
