Job Description

This Brigg Scientific client are a Materials testing company in Trafford park. They are looking for a Laboratory Assistant for 3 months to cover a very busy period.The role will involve:

  • Receiving sample deliveries
  • Preparing samples of polymer, textile and rubber for destructive testing
  • Cutting, shaping and loading into testing jigs.
  • Removal of samples after testing
  • Sample storage and cataloguing
  • General Laboratory duties to support the operation of the testing laboratory
This is a physical role needing the ability to handle rolls of samples in the preparation area.The role is planned for an initial period of 3 months to cover a busy period, but could be extended indefinitely if the business case continues.No experience is necessary and they invite applications form thoseHours are 9-5, Monday to Friday and they offer a flexy time system also.Rate of £18,500 per annum.
