Role: Key Accounts ManagerSector: Heavyside Building MaterialsLocation: Greater ManchesterSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 + bonus, company vehicle etc.Key Account Manager with proven sales / business development experience in heavy-side construction materials and related products, or with experience of selling into the construction sector.Our client is a leading national distributor of building materials. To support their continued growth they are looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced Business Development / Key Accounts Manager to cover the Greater Manchester area.Working for a market leader you will receive a strong starting basic of up to £50,000, a very generous bonus structure, company vehicle, pension contributions and excellent opportunities for career progression.The role:This is a home / field based position managing key accounts with a minimum annual spend of £300k.Inheriting a portfolio of circa 35-40 accounts with a combined annual budget of circa £10-12m, the successful Key Account Manager will be an excellent communicator, preferably with existing contacts from within the industry.You will have good building materials products knowledge, strong account management ability and margin awareness. Due to the nature of the role you will have a full driving licence and be prepared to travel as and when required.The person:
