The new business model has enabled Trust Payments to establish itself as a leading FintechPayments group.Junior Software Developer - The Role:We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Software Developer to join our Data team. As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing software solutions and tools to support data-related initiatives. Your primary focus will be on utilizingC# .Net, SQL (or equivalent) to design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications.Junior Software Developer - Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Data team to understand requirements and translate them into software solutions- Develop, test, and maintain data-driven applications using C# .NET, SQL or equivalent- Design, implement, and optimize database structures and queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to integrate data pipelines and ensure data quality and accuracy- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data management and software developmentJunior Software Developer - You:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)- Strong understanding of SQL /PostgreSQL or equivalent for data querying and manipulation- Proficiency in C# .NET and experience with object-oriented programming- Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to changing project requirements- Prior experience or coursework related to data management or database systems is a plus- Knowledge of other coding-languages (Python, etc) will be considered an asset- Familiarity with AWS technologies (such as Redshift, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) will be considered an assetJunior Software Developer - Benefits:- Opportunity to be part of a rapidly scaling and market-leading Fintech business- Health and Wellbeing ethos including regular wellness sessions, fitness and nutrition and other events as well as supported by internally qualified mental health first aiders- Family-friendly enhanced benefits/policies- Pension, Healthcare, Life Assurance- Social events and team building- CelebrationsWe understand the value that a diverse and inclusive working environment brings to Trust Payments.
