This role is to work on one of their in house brands. You will also be supporting the wider Merchandisers/ Account Managers with other accounts across mens and ladieswear.Client DetailsA great opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser - Branded to join a well-known Importer who have been trading for over 30 years. The company supply to Fashion retailers out of their London and Manchester offices.DescriptionLiaising with both suppliers and customers.Experience with liaising with the Far East is essential.Raising purchase orders, packaging / label orders (care labels, brand labels, price labelling) and dispatching to our suppliersMaintaining the critical path.An in depth knowledge of the critical path is essential. The merchandiser will be responsible for chasing in lab dips, print strike offs, bulk fabric and sample submissions ( sealer samples /pre-production samples / production samples / press samples)Liaising with the clients shipping and deliveries department, ensuring that goods arrive are processed and are delivered on timeProfileAn excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and e-mail applications is required.Be an organised individual who is eager to learn and progress within the industry.Someone with a detailed eye and likes to work in a fast paced environmentIdeally have 2 plus years experience as an import merchandiser within fashionHighly desirable experience with liaising with factories in China, Bangladesh and IndiaJob Offer£18k-£20k +Working hours 9.30-6 +Close to transport links +Progression Opportunities +Travel Opportunities Junior Merchandiser - BrandedJunior Merchandiser - Branded Required skills
