Job Description

The Company:

  • A fantastic opportunity for an Junior Merchandiser to join an established fast fashion on line business. Reporting to Senior Merchandiser to support the effective management and reporting of stock accuracy across channels. Responsibility for sales reporting, critical path management, stock and order management and database maintenance of the product life cycle. The candidate must have strong numerical and analytical skills
    • The Role:
  • To prepare reporting and present in Weekly and Monthly Trading Meetings.
  • Drives the Test and Repeat Model to trade their area.
  • Reviews Daily and Weekly Sales performance and carries out Rebuy and Markdown actions where required.
  • Reviews over and under performance at Product Group level and drives trading actions to maximise potential and minimise risk.
  • Seeds and manages a WSSI by accurately forecasting demand, OTB, returns, AVSP and margin.
  • Takes ownership of the Critical Path Management and takes appropriate action on issues when they arise.
  • Presenting when necessary at high level meetings.
  • As well as being competent in preparing trading reports/packs will also make recommendations for reporting improvements across the B&M function and implement.
  • Maintains a productive relationship between merchandising function and all other business areas to ensure goals achieved, specifically the design and accounts teams.
    • Skills Required:
  • Demonstrates solid communication and the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Ideally 1-2 years’ experience as a Merchandiser.
  • Extensive experience in planning.
  • Commercially focused with a strategic edge.
  • Proven ability to deliver results.
