Junior Graphic Designer/Artworker required for a leading, niche Travel Company in Manchester. This is an exciting time to join this travel company as they continue their success story with further expansion due to recent commercial success. If you have experiencewithin a Graphic Design/Artworker role and are highly proficient in Adobe Create Suite with a creative eye for detail and a passion for travel this role could be exactly what you are looking for!This newly created role will work as part of the existing marketing team and report into the digital marketing manager. This position requires a natural flair for layout design and attention to detail, as well as excellent knowledge of digital practices.The company/group consists of seven key brands and the role will be actively involved in the creative application and development of all group brands.

• The creation and production artwork for use across all channels and mediums. This includes, email, company websites, apps, web banners, digital and physical display advertising and print.
• Design of internal communication materials, which support the company/ group. Evolve and rationalise the brand identity.
• Produce bespoke content-rich landing pages for main events and more creative key content pages Understand and be able to execute effective content layout including infographics and imagery.
• Creation and updating of brand guidelines across the group and ensure they are adhered to.
• Expand our inhouse content creation capacity for social with less reliance on platforms like Canva.
• Work with third party design teams and agencies team to ensure the integrity of the original design concept as required
• Ensuring that all executions are produced in a customer focused manner with regard to readability, usability, functionality and performance.
• Work with the wider marketing team to create an effective file management system and ensure efficient and transparent archive management and file organisation. Including all event assets both internal and external are up to date and effectively utilised.

Experience required:

• Previous experience within a similar role and the ability to produce artwork from initial brief right up to completion.
• Able to work quickly and effectively whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and managing workloads.
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Organised and time efficient able to hit deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop.
• Knowledge of HTML Adobe Premier/FCP video editing skills, Bannerflow and After Effects would be advantageous.
• Strong typography, layout and typesetting skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas to line manager and wider team / non-graphical team members.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent (in a creative discipline) is advantageous.
