DBA | AWS & SQL Experience Required | Remote | £35kI am working with one of our global clients who are looking to expand their data team with a Junior-Mid Level DBA. Our client are looking for someone who can work between the source data (SQL Server) and the business user where you will be working on databaseadministration, as well as enhancing and extending MI reports (Power BI). You will need to have at least 1 year experience working as a Junior DBA and looking to make a step up into a more advanced DBA role.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a some understanding of the end to end data journey, right from the source application database, to the end-user visualisation tool. This role will see you understanding the key business needs and subsequentlydesigning and building solutions to suit. You will need to extract data from complex applications and products and ensure that data is accessible and structured in a way to simplify reporting. You will also be working with other members of the team to buildreliable, secure, and cost effective solutions. Experience working with data warehouses and/or data lakes is required.Youll need to have some experience working in AWS - in particular, looking at technologies, such as AWS RDS, Lambda, and Glue. Youll need to have demonstrable experience with data extraction with ETL or ELT. Understanding of OLAP structures, and relationaldatabase design will be beneficial to your application as well. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on your own, or as part of a team is essential to this role. If you have a Power BI and SQL background that will be beneficial toyour application.Our client are looking for someone junior-mid level to come in and work in a growing team within a growing business.
