They will be tasked with sourcing and writing multiple stories a day, from serious news pieces to fun features, guides, and profiles. They willbe expected to pitch original ideas, carry out interviews, and be ready to jump on breaking news stories as they happen.Objectives of this role -As a member of the Editorial team, you will be expected to source and write a number of articles that will be published on our in-house brands such as Its Gone Viral.You will be expected to turn around copy quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, breaking-news style environment, pitch original ideas and carry out interviews. Working with the Senior Content Editor and wider Editorial team, you will receive comprehensive feedback and experience within a busy newsroom and you will also learn how to optimise your writing for SEO and how to package your articles for a range ofsocial media platforms.
