This opportunity will provide a competitive salary and excellent benefits.As Junior Architectural Modeler, you will be joining an experienced multi discipline design team within a global solutions provider who puts their employees development and progression at the front of our business plans. You will develop the architecturaldesign model.You will perform design and modelling of highly technical full turnkey facilities within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical & Critical Controlled Environments for some of the worlds most renown blue chip clients. You will see your design decisions incorporatedinto the model then procured and constructed.This role will be based in our Manchester office with occasional national travel required.Key Accountabilities

  • You will own the architectural modelling and drawing outputs on the projects you are assigned to
  • To develop fabric families for architectural materials and items
  • Create details drawings showing how different parts of a room are joined together
  • Export material lists from your model to allow pricing and procurement
  • To produce room loaded drawings showing all elevations and plan of each room with furniture and building services shown in their proposed locations
Key Skills
  • Conversant with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
  • Aware of building regulations and where to obtain statutory information
  • Understand IFC files and their interoperability in Navisworks, Revit and Tekla
  • Sketching layouts and plans to divide spaces into different room types and uses
  • Create 2D drawings from your model which show the design intent and details
