Job Description

Java DeveloperFinancial ServicesRemote / Manchester3 - 6 months£465 per dayJava Developer required to join a Financial Services provider. Relaxed environment. T-shirt and jeans are more than welcome!What will you get to do

  • Work on a platform built from the ground up using but not limited to technologies such as AWS, VueJS, Java, Docker, K8s, Apache Camel and Springboot.
  • Access to tools and resources to do your job.
  • Ability to join and participate in multiple internal interest groups in trending topics like DevOps, Continuous Deliver, Big Data and GitOps.
  • Continuous Integration through multiple environments to get rapid feedback about your work.
    • What we expect from you:We expect the right person to have good knowledge of what it means to work with large/distributed systems. Furthermore, we need someone who lives and breathes agile development, focuses on delivery, and wants to take a leading role in improving the way we work.
  • Solid Core Java development experience in a commercial environment
  • SpringBoot
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferable)
  • Building RESTful services (JSON)
  • Maven or Gradle build tools
  • Automated builds with continuous integration (TDD/BDD)
  • Use of S.O.L.I.D principles
  • Agile methodologies
  • Build strong relations with both internal and external partners
  • Passion for continuous improvement and building a world-class engineering team
