Your teamAn integral cog in the SaltPay wheel, the Corporate ITteam provides comprehensive 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for the companys IT systems. Whilst you will mainly work independently in our new Manchester office, youll be part of and work closely withour established teams in London and Milton Keynes.Your missionAs an IT Technician youll be responsible for providing friendly and professional IT support for the companys IT systems; including (but not limited to) desktops, servers, laptops, mobile phones and tablets. Youll ensure that all infrastructure systemsare kept up and running to agreed service levels.
  • Ensure that company data backup and DR (disaster recovery) routines are robust, enforced and routinely tested, and that regular backups are stored off-site in accordance with company policy
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of all IT related hardware and its physical security
  • Maintain IT related systems, including Phone systems / Mobile Phones / Servers / Routers / Laptops / Workstations / Printers / iOS Devices / Email / IT Helpdesk / Anti-Virus System
  • Manage external vendors for IT equipment and services to ensure that the company makes the best use of available resources
  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for all systems where necessary and appropriate
  • Provide out of hours support on a rota basis to cover essential office-based systems
  • Assist in other duties / projects as required
