IT Support Engineer - Manchester

Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as an IT Support Engineer to be based in ManchesterMain Duties of the Role

Ensure that all I.T. issues are responded to with a ticket and that response/completion times are monitored and meet internal agreed timescales.
Managing the server network, including e-mail, print, back-up, file storage, company specific software, document management and their associated operating systems and hardware.
Ensure that we are fully compliant with all I.T. licensing requirements
Managing all operating systems and end-user software
Managing all security solutions including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
Keeping an updated inventory of all company hardware, software and peripherals and sourcing replacement equipment, products, and services at competitive prices.
Ensure that all end user accounts, permissions and access rights are administered and maintained correctly.
Produce and update user guides and summaries for the internal I.T department use and as training guides

Your Skills and Experience

5+ years in an IT Support position
Extensive experience of Microsoft Server based Networks, incorporating Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy Management, Print Management, WSUS, Exchange Administration.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint, Onedrive
VMWare/Azure knowledge
Experience of installation and repair of hardware and software
Experience of Microsoft Visual Basic Applications, PowerShell scripting plus any other relevant coding experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
