Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst to join a global business working within their experienced IT Support Team.Client DetailsOur client is a global provider and manufacturer of recycled products to the FMCG sector, supporting the global efforts to reduce waste. They pride themselves on innovation and technology across the business playing a key role in their success.DescriptionWhat youll be doing..Key responsibilities include:

  • Provision of Level 1 Systems & Hardware support to our users
  • To manage tickets raised through the internal Service-desk within SLAs, resolving where possible or escalating within the Information Systems Department where needed
  • Participation in Systems Projects/Implementations
  • Supporting the Applications, Hardware and Services
  • Local Hardware and Services supply in co-ordination with other corporate departments
  • Monitoring and Management of Processes
  • Management of user accounts
  • Management of suppliers in the delivery of their services
  • Working with customers on integration projects
  • Implementation of Departmental Policies and User Training
  • Occasional travel to other sites
  • Provision of support for urgent issues outside of normal working hours on a rota basis
  • ProfileYour skills and experience..
  • A self-motivated, pro-active individual with an organised approach and excellent communication skills
  • Service-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Able to deliver and sustain high-levels of operational excellence and customer focus in both service and project related tasks
  • An excellent Team player
  • Able to work under pressure ensuring that problems with mission-critical systems are resolved/escalated quickly
  • A Knowledge of industrial environments
  • A Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations & Promotion of safe working practices
  • Full Driving License
  • Desirable:
  • Previous experience or a College/University qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar field is beneficial but not essential
  • Spanish language skills would be advantageous but not essential
