Job Description

IT Security ManagerBusiness Unit: DigitalLocation: West Midlands or Manchester – HybridContract Type: Permanent – Full TimeHours: 40Salary: 60,000 – 70,000 DOEAre you passionate about IT security and looking for a leadership role that allows for flexibility and autonomy We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Security Manager to join our team in the West Midlands or Manchester, with the option ofa hybrid working arrangement.As the IT Security Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and integrity of our organizations IT systems.You will take ownership of the IT security role and provide leadership and daily management for our dedicated IT Security support team. Your proactive approach will be instrumental in managing IT security incidents and achieving our IT, compliance, and businessobjectivesRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain an information security strategy aligned with our business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the IT security team, setting an example and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Take charge of audits and bid responses from an IT security perspective.
  • Manage relationships with third–party IT security providers to ensure SLAs are met and delivery targets are maintained.
  • Support the business in maintaining and adhering to compliance certifications such as ISO(phone number removed) and Cyber Essentials+.
  • Identify and manage risks and vulnerabilities to meet industry standards, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external providers to mitigate threats.
  • Stay up to date with the latest IT security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide regular reporting to the business on problem analysis, operational performance, and incident reports.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT security incidents and uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
ABOUT YOU
  • Proven experience in people management, leading and managing IT security teams.
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent certification.
  • Background of at least 5 years in a dedicated IT security role.
  • Knowledge and experience with industry–standard compliance frameworks such as Cyber Essentials
  • CISSP certified or equivalent.
  • CCSP certified or equivalent.
Restore Digital support customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence andthe Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
