Job Description

My client is a manchester based leading retail solutions provider, looking for an experienced IT Release Manager responsible to have complete ownership of the end-to-end route-to-live process for all custom software and drive forward strategic improvements to make the processes more efficient, frequent and reliableYou will be highly competenty in and have proven experience in

  • Owning software release end-to-end with the demonstratable skills to enhance and develop the process
  • Excellent understanding of software release planning, strategy, policies, processes and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of methodologies across the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC), including continuous delivery techniques
  • Whole project lifecycle experience, working with Project Managers from initial conceptual design to testing and deployment into live
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL Processes, specifically Change Management, Release Management and Configuration Management
  • Exposure to automated deployment and configuration tools
