Badenoch + Clarks NHS client in Greater Manchester requires an IT Project Administrator for an initial three month contract. The role is to start ASAP and will pay in the region of £100 - £150 per day, with the role falling OUTSIDE of IR35. The role is based onsite, across several locations within Greater Manchester, so applicants must be willing to work onsite in a COVID-secure environment and have the ability to travel to different sites across Manchester. The project the successful applicant will be joining is focused on completing an IT asset inventory check across several sites, in advance of a large IT system rollout. Each piece of IT hardware needs to be firstly identified to make sure that it is physically located as listed on the IT asset CAD maps created by using Lansweeper and then checked that they are still working and fully functional, to primarily make sure that users have the correct desktops and printers required to be compatible with the new system being implemented. You will then update the asset register list with your findings to confirm if the listed hardware is still located where it is meant to be.The role is not-overly technical - candidates will though need to have a basic understanding of IT hardware to cross-reference that the IT assets are on the asset maps are the same as those that you physically find in offices and rooms. The types of devices you will be checking are desktop computers, printers and labelling machines. There will be quite a lot of walking around NHS sites each and every day, so candidates must be happy to be on their feet and walking around for considerable parts of each days work. You must also have excellent professionalism and customer service skills as you will be representing the whole IT Department when engaging with NHS staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Support Administrator / Project Support Officer to join a high-profile programme of work for an initial three months, which could potentially extend beyond that on to other projects, so please apply now and dont miss out.Badenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers. Badenoch + Clark UK is an Equal Opportunities Employer.By applying for this role your details will be submitted to Badenoch + Clark.
