Job Description

As IT Manager you will play a key role in the companys IT leadership team managing relationships with the key external partners to ensure the success of the team in delivering a high-quality digital services across IT Infrastructure and Networking to all stakeholders.Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be partner with a national healthcare company to support them with the recruitment of an IT Manager to support across IT Infrastructure & Networking.DescriptionWhat youll be doing:As IT Manager you will play a key role in the companys IT leadership team managing relationships with the key internal/external partners to promote and ensure the success of the team in delivering a high-quality digital services to all stakeholders across IT Infrastructure and Networking.Responsibilities:

  • Support all areas of the Company as required using the technical knowledge of the key systems and platforms.
  • Continually develop knowledge in new and emerging technologies as required by the Company.
  • Manage the relationship with key external partners engaged in delivering and supporting the digital service. These partners include;
    • Managed IT Service Provider responsible for IT supportWiFi network provider delivering WiFi across state portfolioBuilding sensor providersOrganisations responsible for delivering key business systems to the Company
  • Act as the key contact for all relevant external partners.
  • Attend the monthly service review meetings, raising issues and monitoring contract performance through an agreed KPI and SLA structure.
  • Act as a point of escalation for IT issues raised by staff or the Internal IT Coordinator.
    • ProfileKey Skills & Experience:
  • A strong level of technical knowledge in key relevant IT and Digital areas. Areas currently relevant are:
    • Microsoft 365WindowsWiFi NetworkingApple iOS
  • Experience of working with Microsoft 365 platforms and apps.
  • Experience of playing a key role on projects and programmes.
  • Confident in managing internal and external relationships.
  • Line management experience
  • Experience of delivering a WiFi solution.
  • Experience of digitally enabled estate
  • Experience of delivering projects and programmes.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Ability to relay technical information to non-technical people.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Confidence to deal with senior individuals and challenge where required.
