IT Infrastructure Engineer - Greater ManchesterThis is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Infrastructure engineer to join a international manufacturing organisation with a HQ within commutable distance from Greater Manchester / Manchester / Rochdale / Blackburn / Warrington / Preston.The role comes with flexible hybrid working which can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis - 2/3 day splits are available.The role will involve supporting their internal infrastructure projects through a lifecycle process of planning, design, and implementation along with escalated support.Key Responsibilities:* Responsible for Systems Management - management of servers, switches, and associated IT infrastructure. Maintain systems availability and protective monitoring of all systems* Provide Tier 3 IT Support and act as an escalation point for System Administrators* Involved in Group Project Work and will also act as Technical Lead for some projects* Implementation, design, and support of network infrastructure including firewalls, routers and switches* Deploying new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software and operating systems* Assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of IT systems across the Group* Assist with mentoring and development of System AdministratorsTechnical Responsibilities:* Microsoft SQL Server* Microsoft Azure* VMware ESXi* VOIP Telephony* ISO27001 and Cyber Security Essentials Knowledge* HPE SAN Exposure* Microsoft Server Operating Systems* Active Directory* Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure* ITIL Experience would be beneficialIf you are interested in the role apply today to be considered
