A Desktop Analyst is required for our client based in Manchester for an initial 3 month contract. This is a hybrid position, usually once a week on site however some weeks might be 3-4 times and some weeks you might not need to attend at all. Thehours are 9-5 (some flexibility).An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking highly skilled and motivated Desktop Analyst. This is a temporary post during a period of increased activity and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer focusedtechnical support during a time of great investment and technological change.The team has responsibility for all end user devices, these include Mobile Phones, Tablets, Thin Clients, Laptops, Desktops, Monitors and Printers. You will be required to provide hands on technical support to resolve incidents, service requests and supportprojects.As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:* Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Operating Systems inc Windows 10* Proven experience of working within a large ICT support environment* Experience of managing mobile devices* Strong Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy* Experience and knowledge of managing and deploying Windows Embedded Thin clients* Excellent Communication skills* Experience of configuring, deploying and managing printers (from desk side to Multi-Function Devices.)Beneficial* Knowledge of developing desktop images using task sequences within SCCM* Experience of deploying Packaged Applications using SCCM* Experience of maintaining security standards* Strong practical understanding of core ITIL functions
