Job Description

The Applications Support Team are responsible for supporting a wide range of patient administration and clinical systems across the Trust. As a member of this team you will assist the Product Specialists in the management, training and configuration of multiple systems, resolving end user’s problems and contributing to the successful use of IT systems across the Trust. The skills you acquire in this role will open up further career opportunities within NHS informatics.We are looking for an individual who has experience of working in a service desk or customer service role and must be able to communicate well with all grades and disciplines of staff. You will be a problem solver able to manage, investigate and resolve issues and be well organised in a busy environment. Ideally you will have experience of using or supporting clinical systems. Experience in ICE, CliniCom PAS, Graphnet EPR, MediSec, ORMIS, Ultragenda or Symphony would be particularly advantageous.The Informatics department is at the forefront of exciting challenges facing the Trust particularly relating to the delivery of the Informatics strategy to support the Trust vision and objectives, the NHS plan and the national changes to the NHS.
