Job Description

iOS Developer - Remote/ Manchester - up to £65,000 - Extensive benefits This is an amazing opportunity to become a part of a leading international team whose work reaches both nationally and internationally. Whilst youwill be joining a household name in the UK you will also be joining a team thats welcoming and invested in your progressing.Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Your main duty will be maintaining existing features and adding new ones to the native iOS framework. This framework is reskinned and distributed to live users.
  • You will work directly with Swift & Objective C source code in git repos on a daily basis.
  • you will clearly communicate progress, dependencies and any blockers to the project delivery team as appropriate.
  • You will be keen and driven to keep up to date with new technologies and features and consider how these could be utilised to improve our apps and workflow.
Key Skills
  • Proven experience of developing and supporting an iOS application that is published on the App Store
  • Extensive knowledge of Apple Xcode development & debugging environment
  • Experience with provisioning applications and certificates in the Apple portal
  • Experience writing and maintaining a Swift and Objective-C mixed-language codebase is required.
  • Experience with SCM/Git
  • Experience of modern design patterns.
  • A strong background/education in computing. Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of consuming REST APIs and JSON in an e-commerce environment beneficial.
  • CI/Jenkins experience beneficial
  • Experience with Unit testing, UI Testing & TDD beneficial
