Job Description

One of the UKs largest plumbing and heating merchants is looking for a motivated Internal Salesperson to join their team in Ancoats, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can make an impact and buildstrong business relationships.Youll be joining a successful business that had record sales last year and they are looking to continue to build on this success. Given its location within a thriving city, there is excellent potential for business growth.Role ResponsibilitiesAs an Internal Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and clients - with a particular focus on commercial clients
  • Making proactive calls and be able to spot opportunities to grow the business
  • Advising customers on the best solution available to meet their requirements over the trade counter and phone
  • Ensuring the achievement of set targets and objectives
  • Representing the business in a confident and professional manner
  • Getting involved in project work, for example, for new buildings and city centre apartments
RewardsYou will receive:
  • A starting salary between £26,000 - £30,000

RequirementsTo be successful in this Internal Sales role, you should:
  • Ideally have sales / account management / trade counter experience within the plumbing and heating industry (or similar)
  • Be a quick learner with great communication skills and the ability to multitask
  • Be proactive, energetic and enthusiastic with a confident telephone manner
  • Have self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
