Job Description

Due to business growth our client based in Manchester are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive. This is a permanent opportunity to join their well established team. This role will initially be working from home.Duties to include:Developing sales by dealing with customer enquiries to provide accurate either technical and commercial information and advice in a professional and timely manner.Proactively generate leads; qualifying the interest of your customers and identifying the best route to progress the potential opportunity via Key Account Managers,Follow a core service process to ensure customers’ requirements are fully understood in order to satisfy their expectations.Support the Express and Distribution Support teams, providing customer handling cover and peak period support.Use relevant business information to proactively manage customer orders ensuring they are delivered on time and in full.Handle customer technical enquiries professionally, escalating to a more senior company representative where necessary to ensure that customer and company expectations are met.Develop good business relationships with key customer contacts to ensure long term commitment to the business and identify areas for growth.Maximise all customer enquiries by up selling, stock-sell and cross selling to increase order values.Ensuring high level of selling effectiveness via our e-platform (Webstore, app etc) and telesales activities to maximize business opportunities with customers.Make cold calls to prospective clients to find and identify opportunities and prospective customers.Schedule informational calls and meetings with prospective or current customer contacts for self or field-based sales staff.Conduct information sessions with prospects and customers to provide information on services available.Lead discussion during calls and meetings; discern needs.Follow up with prospective or current customers.Liaise with our overseas warehouse, workshop, and factories to verify the status of orders, or technical information, via phone or email, in English.Attend and redirect customer complaints (RSP) regarding prices, discounts, credits, shipping, delay or advance of the delivery period, incorrect fractionation of the delivery, failures in the products, etc …Work with core business ERP, CRM, and Telephony systems in line with requirements.Experience Needed:Proven sales experience gained in an Engineering / Hydraulics environment or similarProactive approach towards achieving targetsSelf motivatedSalary:Circa £28,000 + BonusHours of work: 37 Hours per weekBenefits :Up to 6 % matching employer’s contribution3 share schemes - 1 free, 2 contributing ( subject to service )25 days holiday + bank holidaysHoliday trading and discount schemesJob Ref: GS756Hollyfield Personnel do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
