Job Description

Commercial Contracts Manager / Remote / Maximum £300 Per Day + Excellent Benefits / 6 Month Fixed Term ContractNC Associates are working with a public sector organisation to recruit a Commercial Contracts Manager on a 6 month basis to provide a cohesive service across the Commercial Contracts Department. This role is offered on a remote basis and will report intothe Head of Contracts.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is experienced with Interim / Contract roles who thrives working in a commercial environment drafting and agreeing commercial contracts as detailed below.The responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Manager role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide an efficient service, by drafting, negotiating and managing a range of contracts to include R&D Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Sales Agreements (e.g. Tissue & Ocular Products; Supply of Specific Components andServices), Service Agreements, Manufacturing Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Distribution Agreements and Clinical Trial Agreements etc.
  • Working closely with internal and external departments including Research & Development Partners and businesses within the wider organisation to create solid contracts based around the products and services.
  • Demonstrating that you are an expert in your field you will be an effective and experienced contract specialist having developed your skills in either the public or commercial sector.
  • Proven technical abilities to draft and negotiate complex contractual agreements across a range of novel areas.
  • Capabilities to liaise with external legal advisors to develop a suite of new templates.
  • Demonstrate capabilities to expressing complicated ideas, dealing with people across all levels and influencing others.
  • Utilise excellent leadership and influencing skills.
Requirements of the Commercial Contracts Manager:
  • highly motivated and effective individual who will play a significant role in developing our successful Contract Team
  • Articulate with excellent organisation and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience of drafting and creating contracts and documents
  • Ability to act on own initiative and work unsupervised
  • Proven abilities to work in a stand alone role
  • Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills
  • An understanding and commitment to equality and diversity
  • Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise work on different projects to meet deadlines.
  • Experience of commercial and Public Sector Contracts.
