Interim Carrier Manager - Retail - Manchester - Up to £500 per day.About the CompanyA leading UK Retailer are looking to introduce an Interim Carrier Manager on an contract basis to their impressive North West based operation. Due to PEAK periods and an immanent tender process, this role requires somebody to start immediately.Interim Carrier Manager - The Rewards

  • Up to £500 day rate
  • 3 Months Contract
    • Interim Carrier Manager - Requirements
  • Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background
  • Have worked within a Carrier / 3PL Manager role previously
  • Knowledge of in-house and 3PL environments - Advantageous
  • Past experience of building an in-house tender process
  • Previous exposure to finance, Procurement and Legal teams
  • Results driven and commercially aware
  • Good negotiation skills
    • Interim Carrier Manager - Responsibilities
  • Require a full review of their current carrier supplier base
  • Lead the full tender process to reduce cost and supplier base
  • Interlink with multiple departments of the company including Procurement and Legal teams
  • Conduct a full and thorough review of tender proposals received
  • Support the on boarding of the new provider
