Job Description

Position: Integration Specialist - HL7, NHS messagingSuitable for: Integration Lead, Integration Specialist, Integration Architect, Integration Lead - with IT healthcare, HL7 experienceLocation: ManchesterSalary: to £55k + bonusWe are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer / Integration Specialist to join our digital health team based in Manchester. The role of the Integration Engineer is to work with a range of stakeholders to design, develop and test messaging interfaces for a variety of clinical disciplines and workflowsExperience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Integration Engineer, Integration Specialist, Integration Architect type role
  • Extensive experience of HL7, FHIR and CDA messaging in relation to NHS workflows including ITK
  • Previous experience of developing / supporting systems integration using Ensemble / HealthConnect or Mirth
  • SQL Server
  • Programming experience in at least one language
  • Substantial experience of IT project management including resource estimation, identification of risk for business cases and production of relevant documentation
  • Previous experience of managing, motivating and developing team members
    • Desirable:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in similar Integration Engineer, Integration Specialist, Integration Architect role
  • Experience of NHS / healthcare IT
  • Previously worked with NHS messaging interfaces
  • Linux, Apache, PostreSQL knowledge / experience
  • Knowledge of JSON
  • ITIL accreditation
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Epic certification in Bridges module
