Job Title: Integration DeveloperLocation: Wilmslow or Hybrid or Remote - Full-TimeThe RoleThe Integration Developer is a key role within the Business Systems team, responsible not only for building and maintaining critical system integrations, but also helping to shape our overall approach to integration and the technologies we use.As a business that is growing rapidly through acquisition with an ever-expanding range of products and services, the need for robust and well-managed integrations to help bring these together is a top priority. This will involve working with a range of SaaSplatforms such as Salesforce, Snowflake, HubSpot etc., as well as in-house developed applications running across Azure and AWS.Our primary integration platform is currently Jitterbit, however, we have several other technologies in use across our wider estate. As part of defining solutions, you will be empowered to investigate any existing capabilities and take a view on if / howthey can be leveraged.You will be involved in all aspects of delivery, which will give you the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders and various onshore and offshore delivery team members e.g. project managers, architects, business analysts, developers, testers, and agilecoaches.The PersonWe are looking for someone who can roll their sleeves up and dig in with the rest of the team. In addition, the successful candidate will have:* Experience of developing integration solutions employing an integration technology (ideally Jitterbit or a similar iPaaS) or a strong engineering background with the ability to acquire the skills to enable you to work across several integration technologies.* The ability to contribute to technical discussions on how best to model a solution, and then explain their recommendations in non-technical language.* A deep understanding of a range of integration patterns and approaches e.g. microservices, APIs, event-driven, pub/sub, streaming etc.* Broad experience of mapping data and functionality across multiple applications* Knowledge on best practice and use of experience to articulate reasons for adopting design decisions to technical review groups.* An appreciation of the need to keep the non-functional aspects of any solution at the forefront of their thinking.* Strong experience of IT software development and methodologies.* Good knowledge of all aspects of information security.* A test-driven mindset when building solutions, and hands-on experience supporting e2e testing of complex integrations.* The ability to adapt in an Agile development environment and be flexible in approach to work environment and responsibilities.* Good interpersonal skills with clear, concise communication skills; both written and verbal.* A proactive approach to working independently, as well as a strong team player mindset with the ability to collaborate on a day-to-day basis.About UsWe are Citation.
