Job Description

POSITION:Installation Technician (Trainee or Experienced)HOURS:Full Time | PermanentLOCATION:Manchester, North West / West Yorkshire based; working NationallySALARY:£24,000 -27,000 + (Depending on Experience) + Overtime + Bonuses (Realistic £27,000-£30,000 in first year)This position would be ideal for candidates currently in East Lancashire / West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be expected to work nationally.BENEFITS:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Installation of bird exclusion netting over supermarket roofs, building faades, beneath loading canopies and inside warehouses
  • Installation of bird deterrent systems to storefronts, railway stations, bridges and offices
  • Rodent proofing installation in supermarkets and delivery yards
  • Operation of powered access equipment
  • Managing safe working on site
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Has previous site working experience
  • Has CSCS card
  • Lives in Northwest England or West Yorkshire
  • Has a full UK driving licence
  • Wants to learn new skills rapidly
  • Wants to earn more than a basic wageeach month
  • Is able to travel
  • Is practical, flexible and approachable
  • Possess competent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of pest control practice and laws an advantage
THE COMPANY:We are the UKs specialists at providing bird deterrent systems and rodent exclusion, resolving problems with pest birds and their mess for Supermarkets, the Construction industry, Office buildings, Shopping Malls, Railway stations and bridges.Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a Trainee or Experienced Bird Control Installation Technician to work with existing team members across the UK installing bird deterrent and exclusion systems for retail, construction and rail industryclients.Please note that the role will involve overnight stays working away from home for up to a week at a time, but with food allowance and paid accommodation.Full training will be given where required, along with safety, powered access and other industry-specific qualifications.
