This role would suit someone with a high level of attention To detail and accuracy, who has very good Excel skillsJob purposeReporting to the Information Policy Manager & Assistant Archivist, you will be responsible for assisting the Information Policy Team in providing an efficient and prompt service in response to requests for information made by public inquiries and independent review panels. You will play a key role in supporting this important and high profile work. Responsibilities will include performing complex searches within data systems, maintaining detailed working notes and accurate audit trails of search results, performing quality checks on relevance reviews and disclosure bundles. You will also deputise as necessary for the Information Policy Manager and Assistant Archivist and provide high quality general support to the Information Policy Team in their information governance role as required.Main responsibilities1. Performing search queries and extracting the results in preparation for document relevance reviews.2. Carrying out quality checks on relevance reviews ensuring that relevance descriptions for documents have been recorded accurately and consistently.3. Accurately logging relevance review documents, files and any other materials as necessary within a tracking system.4. Maintaining detailed working notes and tracking progress of relevance reviews and disclosures.5. Extracting, bundling, scheduling and redacting relevant material for disclosure.6. Reviewing data subject trackers and assessing whether staff names or data subject names should be disclosed.7. Performing quality checks on final bundles prior to disclosure.8. Contributing to the planning and implementation of projects within the teams. 9. Filing and retrieving documents/case files accurately.10. Contributing to team and section meetings including room booking and minute taking.11. Representing the Information Policy Team at meetings as required.The ideal candidate will have come from a role, which required high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Who is consistently aware of GDPR and Data Protection.
