In-house Commercial Litigation Solicitor (Ongoing fixed term contract for a minimum of 12 months)Flexibility to work fom home/office.A reputable and well-established property company is seeking an in-house Commercial Litigation Solicitor to work on a major commercial dispute and manage a caseload of smaller property files.The roleThe role is primarily contentious and will involve adjudication, mediation, litigation, and risk management. You will have an excellent understanding of and experience in all these areas.You will take ownership of a litigation case from start to finish including forensic analysis of correspondence, research and drafting of case arguments, communication and negotiation with parties involved, and achieving a resolution in the best financial interests of the business.Managing your own caseload in-house, you will also be working alongside leading Solicitor Firms.The role would suit someone who has recently retired from the legal profession but still has a passion for law and the hunger to take on and win a legal dispute.The ideal candidateYou will be a qualified Solicitor with a good history of working independently on a range of commercial and property disputes, including strong experience in litigation work.You are likely to have at least 5 years PQE, and sound knowledge of the law and procedures in relation to litigation work.You will have exceptional commercial acumen, be passionate about commercial litigation, and can demonstrate an ability to provide commercially focused advice and conflict resolution.You will be a self-motivated and proactive individual and be used to working autonomously without a great deal of administrative support.You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and able to demonstrate competence in dealing with clients in commercial litigation caseloads.You will be a diligent and methodical individual with an organised and thorough approach to your work and a desire and passion to succeed in commercial litigation cases.Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer
