System specialistThe role can be based anywhere in Yorkshire / Lancashire with upto 90% homeworking availablethe role comes with a salary upto £35k + On call allowance + some great benefits.About the job:This is a great opportunity for someone to work in the systems team with server, storage, application, and networking administration/troubleshooting.You will be pro-active in highlighting areas within these implementations that can be improved and contribute to decisions on future technology.The systems specialist will also be working with 3rd party consultants integrating various application into their estate as required.We expect you to be focused and driven with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, who can draw on previous experience while keeping an open mind on the root cause of a technical issue.Due to the size and nature of the company travel within the North of England will be expected when needed with regular visits to both datacentres located in York and Manchester.Required Skills Include:Excellent communication skillsStrong experience in supporting Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Office suitesAdministering VMWare ESX.Working with Veeam backupsStorage administrationO365 AdministrationWorking knowledge of networkingPowershell and VB ScriptingHPE Dell servers racking and cabling.Strong decision-making/problem solving skills.The ability to use your own initiative using available resourcesIf you are interested in the role apply today to find out more and discuss the full benefits package.
