Whats not to love!We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Manager to oversee and co-ordinate delivery of appropriate Non-Production Environments across multiple Programmes/ Projects. You will support the Service Lead and Senior EDMs in the delivery of Environments as a Service (EaaS) commitments, whilst ensuring the embedding and supporting the development of EaaS within our award winning, ethically lead bank.If you can bring a background in environment consultancy and supporting projects in the delivery of environments and data, we are offering a brilliant opportunity to showcase your subject matter expertise in a high performing, supportive environment.Key accountabilities

  • Co-ordinating effective and efficient delivery of Environment and Data Provisioning for non-Production environments within a defined scope (Change Tower, Programme).
  • Communicate and work with 3rd parties as required for the delivery of EaaS.
  • Identification and supporting the delivery of initiatives that are required to improve usage levels (eg volume of live data in use, data removal rates, environment availability being improved, environment usage levels, environment decommissioning levels etc).
  • Adherence to defined processes, controls and service access methods in place whilst identifying and implementing improvements as appropriate.
  • Responsible for ensuring that each Environment or Data request is suitably reviewed, challenged, funded and validated before they are requested.
  • Responsible for proactively working with appropriate individuals across the Bank to understand a future pipeline of demand.
  • Key requirements
  • Base experience of managing Environment provisioning and management in a complex technical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of agile/waterfall test strategies, infrastructure, support and management within a regulated environment i.e. financial services or similar.
  • Base understanding of project management, processes/procedures, test strategies, approach and Environment methods and practices.
  • Good stakeholder management experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with management at all levels.
  • Strong drive for results with ability to motivate/inspire diverse teams to deliver.
  • Ability to think creatively in identifying possible solutions to a wide range of business and supplier related challenges.
  • Methodical and rigorous approach to reporting.
  • Some knowledge of the IT market place - technologies, emerging trends and latest developments, third party offerings, competitor strategies and current issues facing the IT industry.
  • ITIL & any cloud qualifications "COMPTIA Cloud essentials" desirable.
