Glass ceilings. Its not anyones fault. You just sometimes outgrow the firm youve joined. And its very common amongst planners towards the start of their career. Theyve had an opportunity, taken it, but have soon realised that if theyre going to grow, they need to move on.Which is where this firm comes in.This is the type of business that people retire from, not leave.Theyre the financial planning arm of a sizeable Chartered Accountancy business. Theyre replacing a retiring planner in 2024 and theyre seeking a junior planner to take over. That means a sizeable client book with sizeable AUM. It means HNW clients. It means accountancy departments to pick up leads from. With a £4m turnover and less than 10 planners, this is an opportunity to not only move up a level, but move up two. Because this is the type of firm where planners retire from, not move from. And why else click applyTheres still a long way to go but youve learned your trade. Youve developed your soft skills. You know what questions to ask. And you know everything there is to know about the typical cases you work on.But you also know theres more out there. More complex cases. Bigger fees. Greater challenges. This opportunity.WHAT THEY NEED FROM YOUYoull need 2+ years post-CAS financial planning experience. Youll need to be ambitious. And youll have the capability to develop relationships in-house. Its the ability to do that which will mark out a successful and very successful planner at this business. The firm has offices in Preston and Manchester so youll need to be close to one of them so that you can build rapport with the accountancy departments. But they treat people like grown ups. If they didnt, people would leave, not retire. If you dont have an up to date CV dont worry about that, we can sort that later. But if youre banging your head and capable of so much more, click apply. We will be in touch (everyone will get a response).
